On January 6, 2026, the Botswana Investment and Cooperation Symposium was successfully held at the Embassy of the Republic of Botswana in China. Mr. Qin Junfeng, Chairman of the Board and President of Beijing CSSCA Technologies Co., Ltd., and Mr. Chen Yiou, Deputy General Manager of the International Business Department, attended the meeting upon invitation.

As a key Chinese enterprise representative focused on the digital technology sector, this participation is not only an important practice for the company to deepen its international business layout and proactively connect with China-Botswana cooperation opportunities, but also builds an effective platform for the international exploration of its technological strength.

At the meeting, key representatives from Botswana, including H.E. Dr. Batlang Serema, Ambassador of Botswana to China, and H.E. Nan Gengxu, Special Envoy of the President (for Investment and Economic and Trade Affairs in the Asia-Pacific Region), attended in person. A promotional video of Botswana was played at the opening, systematically presenting the local industrial development needs and investment potential. The demand for development in such fields as digital infrastructure upgrading and smart governance is highly consistent with the core business areas that CSSCA has been engaged in for many years, laying a solid foundation for follow-up cooperation between the two sides.

In the corporate core promotion session, Mr. Qin Junfeng and Mr. Chen Yiou shared in detail the company’s technological accumulation in the digital technology field, its full-chain business layout and benchmark cases in various industries, focusing on the core advantages of CSSCA in customized solution development, complex scenario project implementation and localized service support. With years of professional experience in the industry, the cooperation proposals put forward not only meet the actual needs of Botswana but also have practical operability, becoming a focal point of attention at the event.
In the subsequent exchange and interaction session, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on cooperation details, policy support, project connection and other aspects, and reached preliminary consensus on multiple specific cooperation directions, creating favorable conditions for advancing project docking in the future.
Through this participation, CSSCA not only fully demonstrated its strong capabilities in the digital technology field to Botswana and partners from all walks of life, but also gained an in-depth understanding of the development pain points and cooperation opportunities in the Botswana market through face-to-face in-depth exchanges. From the collision of business concepts to the reaching of cooperation intentions, every link reflects the sincerity and determination of both sides to seek win-win cooperation.
Taking the cooperation consensus reached at this symposium as a starting point, CSSCA will continue to focus on its core technological advantages, deeply align with the development needs of Botswana, and accelerate the refinement and implementation of customized solutions. With digital technology as a bond, the company will help deepen practical cooperation between China and Botswana in relevant fields, and contribute to building a closer China-Africa community with a shared future.
